Please join us for the Ohio Valley Christian Home Educators' (OVCHE) Homeschool Workshop Day!

This event is FREE and open to the public! Come be inspired and encouraged in your homeschool journey, whether you've been homeschooling for decades or are just thinking about it. Workshop session topics include homeschooling, parenting, marriage, and faith. There will also be a Used Curriculum Sale (next door at the FLC), free curriculum, a resource table, refreshments, and LOTS of fellowship and discussion! Be sure to join us at 11:30am for a time of corporate worship!

Workshop sessions are led by LOCAL homeschooling veterans from Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. There are multiple options each hour, with topics geared towards different interests (e.g. newbies, high school, special needs, etc.). The session schedule and descriptions are attached below. The descriptions will be updated as they become available!

Refreshments will be provided, but please bring a sack-lunch or plan to run out or order in. There are several fast-food, take-out, and delivery options near the church, such as Tokyo Hibachi, Arbys, Wendy's, Subway, and Dominoes.

The Used Curriculum Sale is open ALL DAY to anyone who wishes to sell or shop! You do not have to attend the Workshop Sessions. If you plan to shop, be prepared to pay with cash (small bills), checks, or PayPal and bring a bag/box to carry home your goodies.

CHILDCARE NOTE: This is mainly an adult-oriented event. Childcare is NOT provided! Well-behaved children are welcome, but must be supervised by their parents at all times and not disrupt the Workshop Sessions. Teens/Tweens wishing to shop the Used Curriculum Sale or earn service hours by volunteering are welcome.
